Skin Health Protocol

The skin is the largest organ in the body and is a direct reflection of the overall health of the body internally. There can be many different internal issues such as gut health, hormones, food sensitivities, etc. that lead to skin problems. Often skin problems are complex and can’t always be resolved without a nutritional evaluation and specific plan. These are general protocols that may offer some relief and are not the only answer but a good place to start for self care.

Dermatitis

Dermatitis of the skin can occur for many reasons but the itching is often caused by low tissue calcium. This protocol provides calcium as well as vitamin F to get the calcium into the tissue. The PMG is provided to direct skin repair as well.

Cataplex F

Cataplex® F

When our tissues are deprived of calcium, it causes our skin to itch. Cataplex F helps move calcium from the blood stream to the tissues.

Itching

Itching is generally a histamine response and/or calcium deficiency in the tissue. This protocol provides a natural histamine reducer that helps eliminate it from the body not suppress it as well as vitamin F which promotes moving calcium from the blood stream to the tissue. Calcium lactate is included as well which has the highest availability in the body as it only takes one step in the body to make it available where forms of calcium like calcium carbonate can take well over 10 steps in the body to become usable.

Antronex

Antronex

A natural anti-histamine to help stop the itch.

3 tablets, twice daily

Acne

Acne is a complicated problem and is an indication of the internal health of the body and gut. Hormones can also be a major player. Zinc Chelate is in this protocol and typically we test the zinc levels in office via an oral test before we give zinc as it needs to be in balance in the body. There are no hormonal products listed because they require guidance. Nutritional evaluation is probably the best bet with treating acne.

Bruising easily is a sign of capillary fragility caused by deficiency in reutin or vitamin P. The capillaries are your smaller blood vessels where the body delivers nutrients to the tissues. These factors support the stability of the capillary walls so that they don’t become damaged so easily.

Cyruta Plus

Cyruta® Plus

A circulatory support supplement that contains several independent factors that help to maintain the integrity of capillary walls.
