Spinal traction or decompression is used for many different disorders in these areas of the spine, but a big one is a herniated or bulging disc. Traction is applied using a table that allows us to apply computer controlled traction to either the neck or the back. This is a great starting point for any disc injury and should be considered prior to any invasive treatments such as injections or surgery.
